Okay, I really liked the movie and I have only seen it once, I figure I had best make that known cause some people may just say "she is a raving idiot who has no clue what she is talking about" and that is fine. In our world everyone is entitled to their own opinions even if they are wrong. LOL. Now, I really think that this review is valid and a good perception, however, I also think that this movie could be percieved in so many more ways were you to sit and think about it long enough. It could all just be a rendering of the way David Lynch sees L.A. By saying that I mean that it is a chaotic place that lacks true explanation. Just as people are chaotic and lack true explanation. It could also all be a dream and Betty/Diane could be creating and killing Rita/Camilla as a means of getting over the other girlfriend and wishing the relationship had been more. That the girlfriend had been sexier and that she wanted to be an actress and just plain wasnt very good, all leading to her suicide. I can think of so many more and I fear boring you all so I will end here by saying one last thing. This movie is a work of art on so many levels and it is important to like it for that reason alone if for no other. David Lynch is a cinematic genious and it is amazing that he can make us all wonder and guess and think so much in 2 and a half hours and most of our teachers couldnt do it in 4. Happy movie watching to you all!!!!
