Well, today I saw the movie for the second time, and its the second time I still get shocked. The movie made me get into the internet to find a "logical" explanation for this movie, so here I am.
I have read most of the theories and what I think is that all is a dying sequence. As we all know Camilla and Diane are in love, Camilla gets involved then with Adam and Diane gets mad and commits suicide.
I think tht when she kills herself, she enters in a kind of dream, we all know that dream periods start with a "calmed" situation that gets heavier and then the dream ends, thats why I think that the film actually starts with a happy background, you know, all those vivid colors, dance secuences that represent Diane's triumphs, her "parents" etc, then the dream gets worse, and Diane starts getting a nightmare, actually my theory is based on the primary theory of this page except I think its all a Dream-dying sequence and thats why in the end we see that strange blue-haired woman at the club silencio and says "silencio" thats the spanish word for silence, and she says that because Diane has reached death, and Diane has finally reached the silence of death.
