....until I read (awhile ago) the interpretation. How was anyone to realize all of the dream/reality switch-backs were taking place? I, for one am not into Freud and his Dream Interpretations. David Lynch made this one complicated movie for us average types. It has some interesting scenes (especially the lesbian takes) and some good action (violence) and some bits that simply did not fit into the plot (any plot).
If someone can just sit back and watch this movie without having to be up on Dream Interpretation then it is enjoyable for the most part, albeit somewhat confusing in some parts.
