I have just watched the movie for the first time. I watched it again immediately to try to figure everything out.

Well I have not put all of my theories to test yet, nor sat and compiled them. The whole dream theory was definately on the top of my list for what is going on before I even read the one here.

What I was thinking the whole time I watched this movie is that the "devil" is involved. Something about the way the two old people were smiling in the limo ride at the beginning seemed so very evil, as if they were setting her up for failure and knew they were accomplishing their goal(they then claim her at the end).

Then there was the guy behind the restaraunt, that one seemed obvious.

But also the cowboy, he seemed almost surreal in the way he was refered to and in the speech he gave when you heard him talk. About peoples lives being driven by their attitudes. The whole "you will only see me once if you put this actress in the role, if you dont you will see me twice."

Then the lady who is singing "Crying" by Roy Orbison in spanish dies and the blue box appears(as if its a culmination of evil. The blue box is opened and evil things starts to happen (i.e. pandoras box). And who possesses the box? The evil guy behind the restaraunt. And what comes out of the box? The two old people who then go claim her life.


Anyway, like I said I haven't compiled these ideas or connected everything together. I do plan to do this . But this is just something I wanted to throw out there and hear some responses on. I would like to make up my own theory on how everything ties together with this but it will take time.

Oh and btw, for those of you who will attack me saying that I just put the devil in my theory because I'm a religious freak...

Your theory makes the most sense. It kind of goes with someone elses on here about Coco being God. I'll have to ponder this one.
