Welcome to the new United Forum. We hope you enjoy your stay, and over time love this new forum just as much as the old one. With this Forum there is no need to register, as there is no added benefit other than proof of ID. We are very open to suggestions about ways of improving this forum since it is still very young, and it is all of you who will make this forum what it is.
Your first question may be why is Araym in this forum's logo. The reason behind this is because Araym is the overall favourite character based upon our poll results. If the polls results change and a new favourite arrises, we will update the logo ASAP as we hope to keep this forum as uptodate and exciting as possible.

While we were aiming for a true Septerra Core feel with this background straight out of the game, it is quite understandable that you'd want a white background to give it more of the feel of the original forum. To be honest I think both ways are great so would be very interested to see what the other members of the united Forum think goes best. In the mean time as this is the first request, I'm going to design a white background to fulfil it
I like the background, but maybe on first page get rid of araym image and put banner beside the forum logo? white background would be fine also it doesn't really matter to me. Was it just me or did the create account go no where, and three popup windows ..... I hate popups more than anything else.
Could you put author last on the list, I keep clicking it instead of the message title and it making my outlook go crazy . If you watn the message icon images just let me know and I'll dload them and send them to you. I don't have Internet access from home anymore so my yahoo email gets ignored somewhat now... I can give you my buisness email if we get chatty..
This background is the white one. This forum was using a very different colour scheme until i designed this white one. I'm going to make a post showing the difference between the white one (this one) and the black one, and see which people like best. Sorry about the Author positioning, I know how you feel about it believe me as I have done the same thing before, but I'm afraid I can't move it without changing the forum's style settings. And this one is the best overall and the most faithful to the original United Forum. A slight way around this though is to have a long message title which will push the author over that way, so that's exactly what I'll do for the new post about the Forum colour Schemes.
And thank you for offering to download and send all of the faces, although I'm afraid the only way any one would be able to use them is by actually using html and linking to them manually. So unless people really want to use them in their post them selves or maybe even their signature, I don't think we'll need them for now. Movement of the banner is pretty limited, so I won't be able to do that with it I'm afraid.

Oh, so you don't have access to the code for the forum. never mind then I'll live with it . Yes I think white would be better than black, but that is just me.... Too many black background forums out there already
That is pretty strange... but at least you were able to get an account in the end, and that's what rally counts. yeah the black way was just to give it the Septerra Core feel. It may just look black, but at a very close glance you'll notice it's actually the grid from the equip screen. But now I've become kinda attached to this new white one cause how it has the main characters in the background. Haha that's why I'm leaving it up to every one to decide what they feel would be best because I can't decide.

Phalzyr do you think it is possible to have a email forwarded to all the members emails from the original United Forum? or was the members records lost when the Forum died?
I only talked to BMan before this new forum.
The e-mail of SCCorgan that I have does'nt exist anymore. I have sent mail to Kalmarath and Layla but it will be a while before Layla might respond. I don't know about Kalmarth...
It really is a shame that the old United Forum died.... but hopefully this one will be just as good over time. I think Gilad has Layla's email address. By the way, since this is a new forum your account wont work here, that's the reason behind that.
the addys are still mostly there, just lost a couple due to trouble, but the thing is it won't let me do the mass email thing anymore I guess I could try to just make a list for you and you can use a program or something to mass email them or such...

It's great to see you are able to join us BMAN. By the way, how would you like the forum to have a link back to your page? All you have to do is come up with a little animated banner 100 X 40 pixels in size and I'll put it with the other little banners at the bottom of the page. or if you can't find the time, I'll even make a little banner for ya.
I use Jasc Animation Shop. You can download a free trial version from http://www.jasc.com/download_4.asp
It features wizards to guide you through where you just put all the images you want in and let it do the work. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, you just have to play around with it for a little while.
Sorry about that, it'll be because somewhere out there someone has already used that name with a Network54 account. But even though your account name can't be Mystic-X, you can still have your name as Mystic-X since that's what we'll all see.

I retired for personal things, like writing. No need to say one was sad the old forum was gone. Yet thanks for this new one.

Welcome back Layla and RT. Layla, you're welcome:). RT the last six months in the United forum were actually pretty vibrant. Most of the members in the top ten were there and we had some new folks. But now we must start over.
It's great to see everyone is slowly returning. It's been little over a week and already most of the most rememberal faces are here. Welcome back too you all, it's great to see you again.
