I need a copy of C64 Football Director that doesn't crash!

I am looking for a copy of C64 Football Director that doesn't crash when I reach the first round of the Cup! I use the Ccs64 emulator and all five copies I have downloaded from the Net always crash in the same place! Does anyone have/know of a version that might work and also how can you save your games mid-season? Cheers.
