Here can you discuss about the Sports- and Shoot'em Up Games to Commodore 64.
Micro League Baseball

So glad I found this game. I loved it on the c64 and am looking forward to playing it again. It seems though, that the GM disk and Box score comp. don't hold saves. Whenever i turn off the emulator and go back the next day all my stats and created teams are gone. Any help out there or are these games unable to save?
I have only just started using vice to play great old 64 games. The problem I am having is the games I am playing are football manager games and I dont no how to open a saved game. I select save when leaving the game, but when starting a new game and selecting start saved game i don't appear to have a saved game.
I have a copy of Tink! Tonk! Subtraction Fair I'm trying to make a disk image out of. I have 2 setups for making images: My computer, XE1541 cable, 1541-II or a 1571 drive, and Star Commander 0.83. My other computer - 5x86 133, X1541 cable, 1541-II drive, and Trans64.
With either of these configurations, I can make a disk image just fine, but both have a problem reading track 31 at sector 12 or 14, and additionally track 35 at track 0 with the XE1541/Star Commander setup. The game will load with no problems on the C64c and C128(in 64 mode) I have with either drive attached. The emulators (VICE 1.14, Frodo 4.1a, CCS64 2.0 beta, C64s) however all stick at track 31.
Is this a sort of copy protection that's not emulated? Do other Mindscape games have a similiar protection system? I'd love to send the game in as well as the other 3 I've aquired recently.
If I remember right, I ripped both *Tink's Adventure* and Tonk in the Land of the Buddybots successfully using MNIB with halftracks enabled, and VICE was able to play the .G64's with full drive emulation.
The program requires the parallel XP1541 or XP1571 interface, which I think requires you to open up your drive and connect some extra cables to a chip on the board.
I would love to see Subtraction Fair and Gork ' s Castle again... (not to mention some Stickybear games)
i can play the super bowl sunday and micro keague baseball with no problems. can some one explain to me how to input the seperate season disks without causing my emulator to crash.
I am a complete rookie who needs some help to get startet on playing some of the old classics. I have downloaded CCS64 V3.0 Beta 1.4, but where am I to place the files for the games I'd like to play and which commands do I need to use.
YES, I know this is complete rookie questions, but at least I admit it.....
first of all i think it is great that we can play all those old games again
woooohooo i been looking for years for all these games , i loved them way back , but then of course with the new comps i couldn't run them anymore ,so i think it is great that someone made a site and gathered them all .
but now my problem lol , i downloaded some games and also downloaded an emulator called vice 1.4 , for some reason i seem to have alot of problems using my keyboard during the games , i downloaded wintergames and only thing that seems to work is practise mode for speed skating , all the other things i can get to start but it never starts , i don't have a joystick , i use my keyboard for the games , but it seems like it doens't recognize the keyboard or something , very weird , any help ??
At the top of the window on VICE, click the "settings" drop-down menu. Go down to "Joystick settings." In the joystick in port 1 box, there should be a drop down menu that says "none." Choose a Keyset. At the bottom, there are 3 buttons...config keyset a, calibrate joysticks, and config keyset b. Whichever keyset you've chosen, config it. A not of warning, on some games, like "Steeplechase," you need to config both keysets and assign one to port 1 and the other to port 2. For some reason, only configing one won't work to get you into the game. In the case of "Steeplechase," the fire key config for port 2 is required to start the game. This might be too late to help the original poster, but maybe it could help someone else!
Hi!
Have an easy question for u (I hope!?), found this joystick for some weeks ago but have no ideá what it is made for. It have logo "commodore" but dont know if it is made for c64 or amiga, anyone that have some information about the joystick?
Hi!
Have been searching a lot on the net about this but cant find nay info so
have to disturb you with a silly question...*must be*...
I have done my own cable and are using trans64...I LOVE this program and
utils I must say, BUT...have one problem, I send over my files from
virtual disk to the c64 disk, but is´nt it possible to send over more than
one game to every disk, because when I send over the second one it
overwrites the first...do you have any help section on the net or do you
know what I do wrong?
Sorry for my bad english...
Best Regards
Darudefin

Hi, would like to say thanks for keeping up the site, gr8 job!.....I'm trying to use Pure Stat baseball and everything works fine until I choose a stadium, then it just freezes right up on me (tried with original 3 stadiums and stadium disks same thing). If you have any insight to why this is happening, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Pete Iovino.
P.S. If we can get this problem cleared up, was wondering if you would be able to locate the creator disk that came out maybe 1yr after the main disks. It's used to create players and adds to the player database

If you mean the game by Jon Wells previewed in Commodore Format, it was never released. Jon used sprites and sounds from 10TH DAN in the game SHAOLIN, which is based on SHAOLIN'S ROAD.
Please, I've been trying to find the cheat/poke

I'd be grateful!
