In this weekends Best Buy ad, they feature a Cyberhome Progressive Scan DVD for $79.99. I was going to hold off upgrading my standard Toshiba DVD player until the HD-DVD players come out in 2003-2004, but for $79 it may be worth to upgrade now.

Does anyone have comments on this model CH-DVD 500 or any comments on other Cyberhome DVD players or products? Your information is greatly appreciated.

Why do you thing that a $79 progressive dvd player will be better than the line doubler in your TV? Not sure what kind of TV you have. Hey but Best buy has a great return policy.
