After reading through a lot of posts I haven't seen any on Pioneer Equipment?

I have purchased this HDTV and wonder how it compares to Hitachi etc. What are your thoughts or comments.
Thanks

This is probably one of the best rptv out there and ive heard that thewy use the last years elite parts in these tvs which are just a lower commercila model elite...i would have gotten this instead of hitachi but it had no dvi or auto convergence...and i dont really use auto convergence but nice to know its there...lol

I have had a Pioneer Elite 58" RPTV for the past 18 months. This TV is hands down one of the best out there and well worth the extra money. I just installed a Sony sat-hd200 to the TV and the HD broadcasts are absolutely stunning. The TV also does one of the best jobs with standard broadcasts with its line doubler. Everyone who has seen this TV is stunned.

I've had mine for ~10 months and I'm still amazed with the picture quality! You need OTA digital SD broadcast though when not in the HD mode, non-digital signals or even DISH/DirectTV SD broadcast look real bad on the big screen.
