Even if you go to the broadcasters sites they dont let you know of stuff that they decide to do in HD. I dont mean the normal weekly shows but the stuff like football or special events.

Click on the HDTV Magazine logo. It will take you to the HDTV Magazine home page. Sign up for the free trial subscription first before you buy a subscription.
I really enjoy this forum, but I must say I was dissappointed in the program listings provided during my trial subscription to HDTV Magazine. I know Dale is planning on upgrading, but I believe he's also going to increase the subscription cost. Frankly at $35 per year, the current guide isn't worth it to me, and there wasn't enough Page Two content for me to justify the subscription cost.
TitanTV has a great HD program listing on their site and it's customizable. And, it's free.
Just my two cents.

I don't work for Dale, and I am certainly not authorized to speak for him...but I would think that your remarks are counterproductive. We might find that the program guide is lacking in some areas (it suits my needs pretty well), but I think that we all enjoy and use the Tips List as ell as this forum. I can only assume that both will cease and desist if Dale is not able to eventually turn a profit with the magazine (paid subscriptions).

I don't think I had access to the Tips section during my trial subscription. If I did, I did't know it. Maybe that in itself and this forum justify the cost to some. All I know is that for me, the program listings and the Page Two content and this forum are not currently worth $35 per year, but that's just my opinion. Maybe Dale's next upgrade will blow me away and I'll sign up. But, as it stands right now, based on my experience during my trial subscription, there are better and cheaper sources for HD program listings. I'm not attacking Dale or HDTV Magazine, but I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that HDTV Magazine needs to offer us more if its expects to increase its subscription base. Afterall, it's a magazine with no printing cost and no mailing cost. For $35 per year a subscriber should be able to get more than what's available for free on other sites and other forums. That's all I have to say, and if it's edited out, so be it.

Kevin,
I certainly see your point, and I agree with you that Titan TV is a great free source of information. I just feel that the $35.00 is a good value if you take advantage of all the items offered by the magazine (less thna 10 cents per day). In fact, as soon as I make the time, I'm buying a subscription for one of my in-laws.
I think one of the best selling points for the magazine is that it offers a one stop location for virtually anything you need to know about HDTV. Not to mention that Dale is wired in to the HDTV community and is able to bring many of it's players to us live (granted part of that is seen in the Tips List which you have not experienced)
Anyway, I was not trying to bash you and I hope you did not think that I was. I just wanted everyone to remember that this free forum is provided by HDTV Magazine.

Mark,
No offense taken.
I encourage Joey to get a trial subscription and check out HDTV Magazine. Maybe he'll find, like you and many other do, that the current incarnation of HDTV Magazine is a bargain for the price.
Still, I think Dale should know that there are people like me that need a better program guide and more unique content before we'll buy into his publication and become paying customers.

AND IT'S WRONG! ROSE BOWL PARADE AND SUNDAYS AFC GAME SHOWED HD, WHICH WAS INCORRECT.

Typically the Guide is the more accurate of what is out there - definitely not flawless. At $35 plus the TIPS List a good deal. Based upon the multitude of comments the HDTV Magazine website is the most accurate source for HD info not to mention YOUR biggest supporter for REAL HDTV programming.
Please help support HDTV Magazine and the HDTV movement with a measly $35 subscription.
