A user login is required to post to this Forum. The purpose is to prevent identity theft and improve control over posters. If you wish your identity and e-mail to remain private then you are not required to use accurate information . If you do not use a real e-mail address then we will not be able to notify of your approval or denial of membership in the group to post. If you still wish to keep this private then simply return to the site, login, click on post. Either you will able to post or you will not. Another suggestion is to provide your e-mail address and once you are approved simply go into your user profile and delete your e-mail address.
The first step is to create a Network54 user login under “create account” next to “login”. Once you have this then enter the Forum. Click on post. It will not allow you to post. Select the group Internet Users. Click on apply. We will then accept your application and you will be notified via e-mail. Applications will be processed within 24 hours. This is absolute worst case scenario. Worst case is 12 hours. typically within hours. If your lucky within minutes.
If you are a subscriber to HDTV Magazine then you can join the Magazines Subscribers group. Your login will then have the “Magazine Subscribers” group ID plus you get to edit your own posts. Simply send an e-mail to Dale at hdtvmagazine@ilovehdtv.com with the topic “Forum Access” with your Forum login ID. Do not send your password. If you are a member of the TIPS List then follow the same procedure using the TIPS List address and it will be taken care of.
I you should want to change your user profile then go to
http://www.network54.com
and login if you are not already. Click on the resources tab. You will see "your account information" with your user ID below. To the right you will see "edit". Click on it. There is your account. This Forum also supports an avatar or picture with your user ID. Click on “Personal Photo” and load in your picture.
HDTV Magazine Forum Users Guidlines
As in any business the owner reserves the right to control access. Without this procedure we are simply an open tent on the information highway to be used or abused by any passer by at any time. HDTV Magazine, the Forum, and TIPS List are all part of the High-Definition Television Association of America, your national voice for quality HDTV led by Dale Cripps, a very big player over the last 20 years to bring HDTV to America. The purpose of this Forum is to provide accurate help, education, assistance and reference information in understanding and using HDTV and imaging products so posts may be deleted or edited. This is achieved with a technical moderator that handles civil and uncivil disputes as well. While free speech is allowed in many cases there are technical discussions. We are seeking the truth regardless of the outcome. In this sense the Forum is not a free-for-all. Please, no flames, inflammatory remarks, name calling or foul language. Please make your point with intelligence, wit, and facts with integrity and respect. Of course there are many opinions and please express yours within the framework of the Forum.
Thank you for joining us in this new technology called HDTV. Dale Cripps is convinced it can change the world and make it a better place. There is so much to learn and that is because we have been ignorant for so long. This will be a huge paradigm shift and quite an education. The good news is just like it is common to know some basics about cars we hope to have you kicking the tires on HDTV products probably knowing more than the sales person or better yet finding one as knowledgeable to further assist you.
HDTV Magazine Forum fully supports the ISF calibration process using either a calibration DVD and customer controls or having a professional go deeper using a service manual and test equipment. HDTV Magazine does not support any postings on the Forum for going beyond the customer controls. If you want this kind of information it is on the internet easily found using a search engine.
In the spirit of the following,
“Everyone should respect all others as one's own kin, having the same divine spark and the same divine nature. Then, there will be effective production, economic consumption and equitable distribution, resulting in peace and the promotion of love. Now (at this time), love based on the innate divinity is absent and so there is exploitation and deceit, greed and cruelty."
