Anyone ever seen or purchased this LCD T.V. Seems these are made for only Overstock.com, but I bet this is a name brand that uses another name for Overstock.com. Anyone have any info on this matter. I'm looking to buy one and it seems like a steal of a price.
I'm getting a LCD for the bedroom and its all that will work with my available space.(I will be hanging on the wall) But I thought that price was very reasonable especially since it was HDTV Ready but being very cheap has me concerned. I have bought many things from Overstock.com and have always been happy, but I can't find any reviews or any other specs on the T.V.
I can't believe that you wouldn't be able to see a difference from Hi-Def Programming on a 20 LCD and regular programming on a basic T.V. Anyone else ever watch HDTV on a 20-24 inch LCD T.V

It feels like 4:3, kinda looks 4:3 and the pixel base is 4:3.
Hmm.

So pretty much it is a loop hole to trick the uninfromed buyers. They make you think it is a HDTV Ready T.V but in fact it will take in the 1080i signal but only display about 480p. IOs that about right with this T.V.

Actually that is about right for many TV's. To a large degree we are watching extended definition displays or displays no better than our old ones except they will work with the new scan rates.
So, is all the buzz about HDTV or is it the DTV system that is causing all the fuss? Hmm. This will be covered in a future column for the magazine called "Quality Control"
