Hdtv Rookie

Can someone give me advice on what hdtv ready tv to buy. I am looking for a 50 inch 16x9 tv with a price tag of no more than $2,000. I am planning to use the HDTV Comcast converter box. Is the Sony kp51ws510 any good?

I have a toshiba 57" and couldn't be more happier...
