Are there any mediums currently available to record a television program in High Definition? I recall seeing a JVC model that was able to do that but I'm not sure if it was a DVR or a SVHS recorder. Does anyone have any info. I just purchased the Panasonic DMR-HS2 and it records in 480i and 480p. Thanks

I believe Zenith has a model to record OTA programs.

JVC and Mitsubishi both make D-VHS machines that are capable of recording HDTV. The JVC requires you to be able to supply a firewire output from your HD tuner as a signal source for recording. I believe the Mits machine will operate with their integrated tuner tv's but I am not sure about that point.
