The scheduled WEST WING ep will air next week and the rest of the season moves down a week.

That sort of pre-emption is something that would normally tick me off too, but as a fan of both baseball and the West Wing, I was happy with the switcheroo last night. Apparently NBC figured there were more people in my shoes than yours. Go Sox!

Just take it as a joke. It will save everyone some grief. I only wish ABC had also pre-empted 'NYPD Blue' on Tuesday. I only got to see the whole foul ball controversy in a little box, with no sound...

Last night's CBS programming was also pre-empted. CSI and Without A Trace showed reruns from last season.
