I just saw an ad in a close-outs catalog for a "GO-VIDEO" disk recording machine. I know with the right soft/hardware you can record your old VHS tapes to disk via your computer but I was not aware there is a stand alone product to this. Are there any other such machines? How good is this GO-VIDEO recorder? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Richard, a great review of those products. I went to etronics.com and wanting to check current prices and they had nothing available. Looks like prices are coming down though so maybe there will be some real bargins around the holidays. Thanks again.
