What is listed in the above URL is HD, not the stretched crap you are talking about. They are beginning to come alive, just as they said right up front. It is, indeed, looking up.

I appreciate your optimism, but having looked over the schedule, there are seeral cases where there is a six day gap in HD programming. Until they have several HD broadcasts per day I would have to agree with Jeff. I know that Sports Center will be HD sometime next year, but chances are slim that the clips which make up the majority of the program will be HD. It seems to me that they still have a long way to go.

They are moving in the right direction but until they have at least one live sports event per day in HD it will be lacking. It bothers me to watch HD programming mixed in with SD programming as Sports Center will be shown. But they are at least trying and in another year I expect things will be vastly improved.

Hugh I agree 100%, but knowing that ESPN is already the most expensive subscription channel to the cable operators, it seems that it borders on grand theft for them to charge for the current ESPN HD product. I love the product, but don't think it is worth paying extra for yet. It might be at a later time, but I think that charging for it now risks them alienating some customers and potential future customers.
