Just wondering if people reccommend the avia calibiration disc (or the other one) and if it easy for a knowlegable person to calibrate and adjust a 65" Mitsu Diamond (or any other set) by themselves or does it make sense to hire someone.

Thanks,

Doug

The Avia disc is good and so is the more up to date DVE DVD. Naturally a true calibration by an ISFer will give the best results if your TV needs it. If your TV is a couple of years old or if you are seeing some problems than a clibration would not be a bad idea. Since you can get one the the Discs rather cheaply I'd try it first and if you still have issues I'd go and hire a good ISFer and it will run about $350 to $500 depending on the set, etc.
