Hello-
I had read some time ago that JVC was offering an HD video camera - anybody know anything about it? And, are there others out there, Or, is it just too soon?

JVC has two models out although I think one just replaced the other. MSRP is around $3,500 although they can be find for about $1,900 to $2,300 for the newer one. A guy I know has one and loves it. I've seen the video and it is excellent. Prices and size are sure to come down. See the JVC site for details.s

The two JVC models have been available for months. Technically the JY-HD10 is the "pro" model with a few extra features added for the pro users. Both look nearly identical and are mostly based on the same components. List for about 3500 and 4000, but widely available for much less.
