Woopie, unless you live in a ditch most of those channels you're paying for are available for free via an antenna. I still dont see discovery, or hdnet, or hdnet movies. Even worse is counting that pr channel for comcast conquest of the cable world (sportsnet), oops I mean philly sporting events... even worse in my opinion.

I'm in South Jersey too, but don't use Comcast. If you want FOX (and every other local affiliate), why don't you go OTA and scrap cable HD.

5 channels are available OTA, that are in the Comcast lineup....InHD and INHD2 are really nice but Comcast disappointed the sports fans by dropping Comcast SportsNet which IS NOT on INHD, also INHD sports is blacked out 75% of the time here in Chester County PA...a real joke! When will they start blacking out movies? Also REPEATS are almost unbearable in this package, like D* where I think the Discovery channel should be named the "Show it again" channel...almost useless a part of a package...I hope the new merger gets things rolling because this is "fraud" for $11 a month!!

Good to see they worked out their dispute with CBS over HD before the Super Bowl (and the playoffs).

Here in South Jersey on comcast you need to have digital cable to recieve most of thier HD programing even tho I am allready paying for HD. comcast is a monoply that stinks. It should be like our gas, electric, and telephone where you pay for what you use only!! PLEASE don't tell me that they can't develope technology that would do that.

The HD channels, especially espn and abc, only come in some of the time. Sometimes you have to scroll past it and come back to it for the picture to appear. Lots of time it never appears. Very frustrating when you like to surf. Comcast acknowledges the problem and is "working on it."

I've had that happen a few times also. Glad for your post.
