I just received the SA 3250HD today to replace the SA 3100HD, I used the setup wizard and selected 4:3 for my Sony KV-36XBR800, I had the option of 4:3 and 16:9 for the display I have.
I now see full screen on channels that were letterboxed, should I have picked 16:9 for my display even though its not?

Isn't that model a 16:9? Turns out that the setup wizard doesn't do anything you can't do in the on-screen settings menu. If you press the settings button you will find an option to stretch the picture a couple different ways. I have a 4:3 tv and returned my 3250HD for the old 3100HD. If you do a search for 3250 you can find my complaints about it.
