So they finally "dish" up what we crave, the NFL Sunday Ticket in HD. But there's a catch though. There's ALWAYS a catch. If you're lucky enough to have your favorite team on in HD, and in most cases your fav team will be your home team, you get blacked out and shuffled off to the local affiliate which more times then not will be in SD. So what's the use?

This season you were not blacked out for the HD game on CBS even if the game was available on local CBS

You were however blacked out on FOX Widescreen game if the game was available on local FOX

Not sure if this was intentional or in error.

That's the NFL rules, not DirecTV.

Actually that may be the network rules about which games can be broadcast in which areas and on which channels. I'm reasonably sure that DirecTV has no control over it. I'm sure they would like to offer as much as they can.

Just trying to put the blame where it belongs. My guess is CBS did not object to showing a national game at the same time as a local game but Fox did.
