This from the Globe & Mail -

"High-definition sports broadcasts coming up in Canada include ... the Montreal Canadiens-Toronto Maple Leafs prime-time game during the CBC's Hockey Day in Canada on Feb. 21."

Hopefully, by next season most Hockey Night in Canada games will be broadcast in HDTV. Some people in high places at CBC want that to happen.

Bob: As you may know, living in the Detroit Metro area the Windsor outlet is our connection to HNIC. However being a CBC station very little effort is used on their part to even acknowledge we exist. When CBC took over the station from an independent they actually rotated the transmitting antenna to better serve the canadian side. Again when are these stations going to go digital? As an avid Red Wing fan I would love to see the Detroit Toronto hockey games in HD. Fat chance at the rate CBC Windsor is going though.
