Are you talking about direct view sets? If so, make sure the armoire can support the weight of these sets. All fine sets, I'd be happy with either XBR or Loewe.

While you probably will get good peformance from either of the three, the Aconda is probably considered to be the best judging from the reviews I have seen. Has it been discontinued? That price seems to be much lower than I remember.

I already own a very nice home theater system based around a projection TV, but I'm looking for a bedroom set. The Aconda has received rave reviews from all of the most respected Video magazines and as such deserves consideration for the type of application that I am considering.

Jim, this may also be coming out of the blue, but there are those who prefer direct view. It is widely known that they still have the best presentation of the color black. Here is an interesting article weighing the pros/cons of display technologies, it is excellent (in my opinion)
I just was in Sears Sunday and the tube 16:9 screen Samsung is on sale for $599.99 . This is a 26inch HDTV ready set. I saw the 30inch 16:9 Samsung and this price point will mean this beauty goes in my bed room. You will need a set top box with this television but I have seen them as low as $299.00

From what I've head you can't go wrong with the Aconda. What is the name of the store you are dealing with?

I have the 34" Widescreen Sony (non-XBR), and I haven't regretted buying it! I love it! I have a 1 bedroom apartment and it's prefect for my living room. I was debating on getting the XBR, but i decided to go with the non-xbr model.
HD pictures on it are absolutely gorgeous!!
