I thought that I would pass this on to anyone interested in the 921. I have had the 921 with the 34 inch 1080i 16x9 hdtv since January. I really like the 921 and t.v. The 921 has a few bugs but nothing I can't live with. Dish Network has a great deal going now. The 921 with your choice of either a 34 inch 1080i 16x9 34 inch crt hdtv or a 40 inch projection hdtv for $1599.00. I think that this is a great deal for anyone looking for a great package!

Isnt the 921 the HD PVR? I thought that unit wasnt going to be out until second quarter? Are you sure you arent confusing it with the newer HD unit with no hard drive?

You are thinking of the DirecTV Tivo piece, the 921 has been out for at least a month now.

The 921 has been out since October. It is for the Dish Network. The DirecTV HD PVR will be out in maybe Q2.

I called Dish Network today and they only have the TV offer with the 811 HD receiver, not the 921 HD DVR receiver. Can you tell me how I can get the 921 and a TV for $1600? Thanks.

As of a month ago, the 921 was $1000, and there was only one seller. (see Google)
