I was pretty impressed with ABC'S telecast Monday night......I am not a big fan of 720p, but will give credit when credit is due, and in this case I enjoyed watching this movie in HD........picture quality was very nice and the animated dinasours looked great........I was also impressed with the 5.1 sound......though not as good as the dvd which also contains a DTS soundtrack, the quality was quite enjoyable,..very good all around sound from all speakers and lot's of booming bass......I watch all my HD using OTA on a Sony kd34xbr2, direct view HDTV

have to agree with you about JP III. I didnt like the movie too much, but i got hooked watching in HD the other night. Very impressed with the sound quality as well. ABC is only affiliate using 5.1 in my area, so it was a nice treat. i have a 1080i tv, so 720p is converted but i still love the way most of ABC's HD coverage looks. The colors seem to be brighter and more brilliant even though the edges are a little blurry almost at times than 1080i. CBS has better resolution or crispness but colors can be a bit dull at times. And while the booming bass is nice, its the midrange tight bass that i really like.
