I just got VOOM today and the video is as advertised-fantastic!!! However I'm unable to pick up the dolby digital 5.1 signal. I get dolby pro logic II. DD works in other modes-DVD and OTA. Anyone else having trouble??

Thanks in advance!

Are you sure the show you're watching is being broadcast in DD5.1? Not all are.

If it is check the menu on the sat receiver for an audio out option or DD option. Also make sure the audio receiver is set to DD5.1 or Auto mode. Try forcing it to DD5.1 mode and see if you get any output.

You are using an optical digital audio cable, right?

Allen, thanks a bunch for helping me realize that I had analog audio out set up. DUH!!! I just hooked up an audio digital line to my receiver, changed the input selection from coaxial to audio digital input. Like magic I have DD 5.1!!
Thanks again
Mike
