has anyone bought this unit yet? samsung hd931.

Would like any feed back on this unit what it can do.

should I wait for other units to come out?

I've had it for a few months now. I bought it because of the DVI connection and it's HD up conversion. Can't really see the point in buying it if you don't use the DVI connection. With that, it gives a fabulous picture. The remote is a cheap piece of garbage that you have to press buttons a few times to give a command, but you can always use a universal in place of it. It's also pretty sensitive to less then pristine DVDs and will stick a little more then I'm used to, but if you clean them before hand it seems to work just fine. What do you expect for $245? It does what it's supposed to do, and that is give a stunning almost HD like picture as long as you do the DVI to DVI thing. Given that, it's a steal at that price.

Make sure you match the DVI output to the native scan rate of your display.
