Last year I seem to recall watching parts of the Thursday and Friday rounds on USA. I'm pretty sure these early rounds were in HD. I just checked the listings for D* tomorrow and the only golf coverage is on USA SD channel 242. What happened to their HD? I know CBS will carry it in HD on the weekend which I hope to pick up OTA as I can't get CBS on D*.

The coverage on USA is going to be in Standard Definition. CBS is HD on Saturday and Sunday. All of the shots even on CBS are not going to be HD because of the need for several cameras covering so many different holes.

Don't miss a second of USA Network's exclusive LIVE early round coverage of The Masters from Augusta, Georgia! Also presented in high definition by INHD.

This was from USA network site.

Last year it was in Hd on USA

Key part of your tagline from the USA website is "also" It is going to be on the INHD channel one from 4:00 to 6:30 and a replay from 8:00 to 10:30 on INHD2. The broadcast on USA will be in standard definition.

Yep, found it on D* channel 84 but, like Marty P, I don't know what 84 is. I usually don't get anything on this channel. Too bad for the rain delay and they had to show old Master's highlights to fill the time. Maybe the weather will cooperate today as those dogwoods are spectacular in HD! The view of Augusta in HD is, to me anyway, equal in importance to the golf. I'd pay a lot of money to play that course just once!

I watched Thurs and Fri on DishNetwork on CBS-HD (9484)from LA and on the Special Events (9466) channel. Yesterday it was really great to see Arnold Palmer do it just one more time. I was 11 years old when he participated in his first Master's and I'm over 60 now. It's been a great ride.
