- Shock Nagasaki's - Year of the spy album will be availabe on limited vinyl in a few weeks!
- We are preparing a new sampler called: "STREETROCK - The Greatest Hits Series". A midprice digipack compilation cd with some recent material from rebellion bands and bands from other labels. On the first part (hopefully to be released during the summer of 2006) the following bands are confirmed! (each band delivers a song from their last/new record + an exclusive song): Bakers Dozen (sc), Ultimo Assalto (esp), Shock Nagasaki (usa), Marching Orders (aus), Hateful (sc), the Veros (fr), 7er Jungs (ger), Strongarm and the Bullies (usa), Frei.Wild (ger), Razorblade (nl).
- Rebellion Records signed Ultimo Asalto (the best and biggest streetpunk band from Spain!). After the summer we will bring you their brandnew CD (vinyl through Randale Records). To warm you up a bit rebellion releases a re-edition of their latest (and sold out) album: Solos contra todos in may 2006.
- These bands are currently in the studio, recording their upcomming full-lenght albums on rebellion records: Discharger, Bakers Dozen and Ultimo Asalto
SUBLABEL!
- Rebellion Records is preparing the launch of a sub label called: Rough Diamond Records. the purpose of RDR is to release bands outside the streetpunk/oi!/punkrock corner! the music will range from folk to rock, from ballads to glampunk, from speedrock to rock n roll etc. We are currently working on a website, logo and pre-paring a special promotion campagne. RDR is currently negotiating with a few really interesting acts, more news TBA.
- As in studio news we can report to you that "The Southern Way" finally managed to write a follow up of their great debut album and will hit the studio this summer to record their hellspawn rock n roll sounds to be released later this year on Rough Diamond Records.
