Nidge the founding member/guitarist of the classic U.K. band Blitz was killed last night in Austin. He was struck by a car while crossing the street. The band had just finished playing the club Emo's in Austin Texas. Anyone fortunate enough to see Blitz on this recent tour could tell that Nidge enjoyed playing Blitz songs so much.
The Punk Rock Community will miss him. Our condolences are extended to his family and bandmates.

WE HEARD YESTERDAY THAT FOLLOWING FRIDAY NIGHT'S SHOW IN TX, NIDGE WAS HIT BY A CAR AND KILLED.
NEEDLESS TO SAY ALL OUR THOUGHTS GO OUT TO NIDGES FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT THIS TIME.
HE WAS A FRIEND TO MANY, A GREAT MUSICIAN AND WILL BE SORELY MISSED......................
