Look, I just gave MY observation and opinion on this kid's version. I was honest, not harsh. He didn't seem to have a problem with it.
I don't think Jesus was a Brit since he was a JEW in reality, duh! Listen to the professional recordings , no one adds a heavy accent, except for Bach, who also sounded stupid.
Evan is young. Air flow and diaphram control takes years of practice and often lessons. Gethsamane is a killer song and requires tremendous effort to sound really good. I wouldn't exactly call it an "audition" song, unless you can really wail it and know that.

While it's ok to want to imitate a certain vocal technique, especially if it works for you physically. A good vocal teacher will know how to advise you. But anyone serious about singing should develop their own style...always.
