Other people have asked that question, if that is a woman. No, I genuinely do not think it is. It just sounds like a high pitched older dude.
On the Les Mis Student Edition CD set, there's a kid, who's a boy, who sounded like a girl. Myself, and a few other people made fun of it, because it was funny. Our choir instructor said, "No, it's not a girl, it's just a REALLY DEVELOPED tenor!" I wanted to punch her in the face. Just thought I would share that story.
One time, I watched a barbershop quartet perform... and there was a tenor... I mean... a REAL tenor. I'd never seen one in real life before. He had absolutely no trouble hitting anything. It was amazing. I made a comment later, "That dude really makes me mad... I hate him... how can that kid sing so freakin' good!!!" And his mother was right next to me. She said, "THAT KID is my son!" So I hugged her, and everyone was happy.
