First off, I am offended by the names Messrs. Grubbs and Whiteford chose to respond to this topic.
Second off, I own several programmes from the London run, so I KNOW what I'm talking about. 1972-1974, Paul Nicholas was Jesus. In 1975, they went through two or three different Jesuses. In 1976, Mr. Nicholas returned to the part and then left due to a better offer. In 1977, a few more Jesuses were gone through and then, in 1978, Paul Nicholas returned and continued in that capacity to the end of the run.
