YOu're probably right about Officer being a Bertrando offspring but his Champagne win was only a few ticks off the breaders cup time with no one pressing. I think Bertrando won the Juvenile and was second in the Derby so I think Officer might still do it if he can learn to hold his best for the stretch. Baffert should put him on a shelf after the futurity 'till January.
I agree about Tiznow, but I'm sure his connections can hear the stud fees calling. By the way his Dam sold, in foal, for 2.8 million (11/6) at Keeneland.
I think breeders will sit up and take notice of Cee's Tizzy with two wins on California Cup Day.
