Comparing champions of different era's is impossible, would Jesse Owens out pace Maurice Green ? would Muhammad Ali whip John L Sullivan's butt, who knows, who cares. Its good to have champions of different era's it means we can admire many champions and each person has a favorite champion who in their view is tops. I personally think that Phar Lap was the greatest horse of all time and I'm sure that you could produce many statistics to prove me wrong, but will you change my opinion, no way, and because champions from the past can never line up against each other it means that we must agree to disagree.
