Well, I read Ray Wolfe's "Secretariat" which also inlcudes every race chart, not to mention I've seen Sec's PPs many times (I collect PPs for great/good horses) which are also in the "Champions" book, and no, that is just not true. I think (don't have books at work) his high-weight against elder was 119; but definitely he never carried higher than 126 in his career. It's in all the PPs and racing charts to see. If Nack's book (that is Nack, right? I get them confused) says that, it's wrong and perhaps just a typo.
