I've just been watching a simulcast of Australia A from Flemington. It looks like a beautifull day and as festive aS the Derby. If Tulloch sees this may be you could tell me if this is Melbourne cup Day. The two races I watched were sprints and what cought my attention was the way the field split onto two packs, one on the inner rail and the other on the outer or grandstand side. The mobile camera is fantastic by the way. This is a big day judging from the Europeans, Michael Kinane, Frankie Detorri for two. I noticed that the riders mounted by themselves. as opposed to getting a "leg up" as they do here. All in all a very colorful spectical. I just heard the announcer say over 100,000 spectators for the Melbourne Cup. Well I cant pass up a chance to place a bet. THIS IS FABULOUS!
