I think Man O War deserves to be called the greatest of all time, but, if you love racing, don't forget about all the other great stories. Ruffian was the little filly with a heart bigger than all the colts she beat and Whirlaway had the unusual knack for bolting to the OUTSIDE rail during a race, continuing the rest of the race there, and WINNING the race.
