This was the first close-up view I ever saw of MOW's best son. He appeared to have a very pronounced "roman nose" feature (clydesdale). I don't believe I have ever seen another thoroughbred that looked that way. I always believed that horses with this feature were considered as inferior. I can't remember where I got this impression. The Admiral certainly debunks that idea. I recall seeing a picture of I think Lexington that had a similar "profile". On closer look, MOW had a touch of this appearance in some angles but much less pronounced. Has anyone ever seen a photo of Rocksand? Fairplay didn't seem to have this look in the pictures I've seen.
