You are correct, Grade1 (and I can verify he is a staunch Sec supporter - we've had many "discussions"). We've discussed this stupid site before (scroll some pages maybe you'll find it).
I say "stupid" cuz I can't even figure out where he got some of the times in there, and certainly not how they are apples-apples from 1 distance to another. They seemed to come from all over the place - final times, fractions, made-up? Guessed from beaten lengths?). Ridiculous.
Not to mention how 1 can easily argue there is no way to directly compare clock times 50 years apart, knowing the total evolution in technologies that had transpired since. Hell, Beyer says you can't compare 2 tracks on the same DAY much less 50 years! To wit, do people honestly believe Sunny's Halo would regularly beat Man O'War just on clocked times?
