You know, I just have to wonder about that idea of totally breeding OUT for soundness.
Surely every1 is aware there are actually several strains (at least) of TB - flats, steeplechasers and probably just everyday/show horses. Why can these not be interbred, and thus not even worry about being a half-breed? Few people talk about non-flat TBs, but I'm sure they're out there. I'm sure they mite have some soundness to them. (If you believe flatters are not sound.)
