You are the 1 starting personal attacks, not I or any1 else.
Back to racing, what does having simple facts correct have to do w/whether Ruffian or MOW or any1 was great or even the greatest?
You stated MOW set a *track record* in a maiden race as a 2yo. He did not. Redhead got the direct data and I can back it up, I'm sure, w/a 1918 chart book and 1921 chart books and the "History of TB Racing in America", not to mention numerous references to MOW either in his own biographies or in snippets of racing books never mentioning such a stat.
You also stated Ruffian set a track record in her 1st start. Wrong. She (only) equaled it and any check of records and biographies of hers then or now would show that.
You are trying to obfuscate the whole point of my statements by diverting attention from the correction of your errant claims about track records. (Again, just cuz I know the truth that MOW and Ruffian did not set a record every race doesn't mean I don't think they're great.)
If you can have a rational and calm discussion about Figures you created (which is very interesting to me), and gracefully admit if you're wrong about *easily* verifiable things like time records, I would love to have you here.
