Re: sounds like heaven

From what I can gather, Australia must be the biggest gambling nation on earth. We have races around the country 7 days and 6 nights a week, Gallops, trots and Greyhounds, we bet either on course, or off course at TAB's or with TAB internet or phone betting accounts. You can bet win, place, each way, exacta, quinella, any 2, trifecta,, first 4, all up, daily double and daily treble as well as the jockey's challenge ( betting on the most successful jockey in each state ).
Every state has Casino's, the state where I live, Queensland, has 4, one is just 10 minutes away from where I live, then there's the pubs and clubs, everything from football clubs to Catholic clubs where there are wall to wall poker machines, keno and TAB's, these pubs and clubs are great for a cheap feed, roast dinner and a beer for around $6.
We also have televised Lotto draws 3 nights a week and 1 powerball draw per week. Finally we have what we call "Scratch It's", sort of like an instant casket ticket, you buy these from any newsagent or paper shop, you can buy them for $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10, and $20 and you scratch a silver film off the ticket to reveal 3 or 4 of a kind and you win a prize instantly, the prize ranges are between $3 and $1 million.
Well that's about it, I may have missed something but there's certainly enough there to keep any punter happy for a long time.

Gotta go there about to jump in the next at Rosehill, see ya's.
