Roman noses are looked down upon only in vanity, it is mainly looked down upon by judges is the show ring not for other disciplin, legend says roman noses are the sign of a loyal horse.. not sure about that now, but they dont always pass on to progeny. Personally I dont like horses with too much white (takes too much time to bath, what with all the chalk and they are subsequently going to find the biggest mud hole possible), but white feet are not as strong as that of black feet. White feet are usually softer and are more prone to white line disease and other hoof ailments. I agree Secretariat was pretty but he was not as good as a race horse nor stud as MOW. Yes Sec had good conf but I am biased to MOW!
