From what I've seen from "Barbaro The Great" I'd say that counter to most horses that are chasing the Triple Crown where the Belmont would be the hardest to win. I believe that the Preakness is going to be the tricky one for Barbaro because most of the horses running in the Preakness were succesful in the early part of the year when the races were at shorter distances an the Preakness is the shortest of the Triple Crown races horses like Sweetnorthernsaint and Brother Derek might give "The Great Barbino" some trouble especially if he gets into a stretch long duel with lets say Sweetnorthernsaint. Barbaro obviously likes the longer distance he killed in the Derby the longest race three olds have run this year so I think the Belmont should be easy I say that because Barbaro has the all important tactical speed compared to most of the stamina based horses like Steppenwolfer and Jazil no dought there will be others but, there closing kick is so late by the time they start to really run, the race will be over. Does anyone forsee Barbaro going back to grass at any point? or will he stay on the dirt the rest of his career because I think like Secratariat Barbaro is a better grass horse then a dirt horse but, both are just so freakin talented that it's not that big a diffrence.
