Barbaro and the Preakness

by

Isn't Barbaro a lefty??? If he is keep this in mind if Barbaro is a lefty like Secreteriat then that means he hungs those turns like a an areo dynamiclly produced race car??? and we saw what Secreteriat did at the 73 Preakness He hits that hole cleaner and about a second or second and a 1/2 faster than a rightie will! However Im not sure if he is a lefty or a righty! Even so it doesn't matter! I seriously do not see a Horse talented enough to beat this beast. I could be wrong but I called him as a triple winner after I saw him in the Florida derby not for the race he ran but for the way he carried himself before and after He has the temperment equal to all the greats He is the best in his class and he most definately knows it! He reminds me so much of John Henry! I almost cried when he won the Derby! All the stars are in line for this animal both him and his Jockey Edgar Prado are hitting their peak at the right time. With Day, Bailey and Stevens retired Prado only 39! is finally set to take his place as the go to guy! I always liked him but like any other great Jockey he had to pay his dues first. Not to mention Mike Martz! This guy is on the right track for years I have watch the triple physically destroy these horses aka: Smarty Jones and Afleet Alex will never race again its too grueling on a 3year old they should come into this thing fresh and well rested to take that 6 week pace! Not on a 8 or 10 week trek through this thing your asking for a career ending injury! A body even a horses body can only take so much pounding! Not to mention finally a trainer who understands that once that Jockey sits in that saddle his job is done! and Lastly, we have not seen this Horse amp it up yet! He didn't even break a sweat at the Derby and he won that by almost 7 lengths! When he finally does turn it on full blast that will be one of the greatest racing days you will ever see! I will not be surprises at all to see this horse come close equal or transcend Secretariats Belmont performance. This Horse is well capable of doing anything feesable on a Race Track! However Im getting ahead of the game. I know the Preakness is the next obsticle for him to overcome! I believe he will and impressively to boot!
