The record stands 33 years later because Secratariat was super horse the likes of Man O' War and there hasn't been a better horse or even an equal to Secratariat to try and break it. No ones beating up on Seattle Slew or Affrimed so chill in my opinnion Whirlaway, Citation, Assault and Count Fleet were better then the 70's horses no need to get all bent out of shape dude.
