I just want to say don't start an argument with me if I post something you don't like (as been in recent posts) I respect your choices and that fine but I have mine too!
131'st Running of Preakness Stakes
1.Barbaro-Is he really all that he's hyped up to be? I think so! I know this well be the hardest of the 3 races but I feel that he can get the job down! He's training beatifully (blow out quarter in :24/1/5 yesterday) and he just looks happy! PLUS HISTORY IS ON HIS SIDE no undefeated Derby winner coming into the Preakness has lost, Majestic Prince, Seattle Slew and Smarty Jones. It's time for him to walk the walk!
2. Sweetnorthernsaint- Hoping that he gets a better trip this time instead of stumbling in the stretch. Local Favorite, possible spoiler, nice horse can he rate and if a stretch duel could he win?
3.Brother Derek- AHHH I'm going against some turf writer's here but I don't see him winning, I definitly see him getting 2nd or 3rd. There are two problems I have with this horse
1. Incredibly hard race in Derby, 4 sometimes 5 horses wide on turns raced well but I don't think he's up to par stamina wise.
2.Never been in a strech duel and if he is in one with Barbaro, or anyhorse I don't see him winning all he's races he won out west were a slice of cake, he hasn't gone face to face with a horse yet and if he does I still don't see him winning!
