Off topic for a few minutes:
I have been a lurker on this board for I don't know how long. It's been quite nice seeing people who talk about horseracing and Man o' War on a nice, polite scale. However, things seem to be getting a little rocky. Can you three main people just appreciate each other for once?
Mmkay, rant over.
Anyways, I will say that Barbaro surprised me. He was, to me, just another unbeaten colt. His Derby was impressive, and I do think he can probably take the Preakness. Seems like a smart horse, and he may or may not have good luck tomorrow.
Either way, I'll be abstaining from posting until after the race, now. I hope to see the boards returning to a less turbulent state.
